Yoga, to me, is a doorway inward
To
Unravel the habits, patterns and conditioning that had/have my body twisted in knots and tension
To
Relinquish me from the relentless rant of my monkey mind
To
Find an Incredible Inner Peace I had no idea existed
To
Discover the incredible healing power of my breath
To
Cultivate and Practice Self-Acceptance, Self-Love and Non-Judgment of Myself and All Others
 
Yoga, to me, is so MUCH more than the physical practice
It is the gateway to Self-Discovery, Healing, and Wholeness
Yes, it strengthens and tones my muscles, increases my flexibility and joint mobility
Yes, it releases my stress, brings me into the present moment and recharges my batteries
 
There is more though . . .
 
Yoga teaches and reminds me that I am NOT my thoughts, I am NOT my past experiences AND I am NOT what my mind/ego would like me to believe
Yoga reminds me Society does not dictate what I wear, what I do or what I should look like . . .
 
YOGA INSTILLS IN ME THAT I AM PERFECT JUST THE WAY I AM 🙂
